VMS Basic
VMS Basic programming class runs 3 days and the course syllabus outlines the concepts covered. Students will be seated in front of a metrology machine (likely a Pinnacle, Benchmark or Summit) and have the opportunity to write basic VMS inspection programs. Your instructor will be one of VIEW’s experienced applications engineers. Everything needed for this class is provided. For the VMS advanced portion, students continue applying the new skills to their own application part with help and feedback from your instructor.
The VIEW Service Training class takes place at the same time as VMS Advanced class. Students receive an overview on providing on-site preventative maintenance like cleaning, lubrication and tightening of connections. David Bui and Justin Rucker will point out common steps to perform when servicing customer systems and basic hardware troubleshooting. The steps for machine calibration will be covered as well. Please see the second attachment “VMS Cert & Verify Training”. All classes run 8:30am – 4:30pm and lunch is provided the first day.
The schedule is:
VMS Basic: Mon through Wed
VMS Advanced: Thurs/Fri
VIEW Service Training: Thurs/Fri
